McCall is a well-known tourist destination for year-round outdoor recreation in the mountains about 100 miles from Boise. Sited on the shores of Payette Lake at an elevation of 5021 feet, the town has a population of 2,554 people.
McCall offers three ski resorts, 500 miles of snowmobile trails, natural hot springs, biking, hiking, water sports, boating, fishing, kayaking, and much more. It’s the home of many annual events, including the McCall Winter Carnival, Riggins Rodeo, Brundage Mountain Concerts, Idaho-Down Music Festival, Roseberry Music Festival, Big Water Blowout, and the McCall Farmers Market. Residents of McCall enjoy the scenic rural setting, multitude of events and recreation, and close community.
